Isabelle turned 5 years old last Wednesday while we were at the Cabin. Her birthday party celebrations started with a cupcake at the lake with Pappa and Nanna. We hauled her brand new bicylce up there and successfully hid it from her for the whole weekend. The picture below is one of my favorite Isabelle pictures of all time...she was so excited when she saw her bike...I think it made everyone happy to watch her jump on it and start riding around.
Isabelle had 5 friends over for another birthday party. I was a little nervous about having 6 5 year old girls running around but it turned out great. We made some crafts, painted thier faces (arms, hands, etc) and had lunch. All together it was a great birthday party.
Sunday evening we had our family over for the 3rd and final celebration, complete with Ice Cream Cake!
