the goldfish incident

Isabelle really loves goldfish, they are one of her favorite snacks. We dont usually eat them on the couch but Isabelle found out just how fun it can be to have a snack on teh couch and then dump it all over dad and furniture. We are off to the lake this weekend so hopefully Isabelle will have fun playing with cousins at the beach...

Isabelle had her first trip to the beach this weekend. It was a little chilly with the wind but she really seemed to enjoy it. She wasnt afraid of the water but spent much of her time playing in the sand. She is still working on her one year molars and we all hope they come soon! She has mastered crawling up the stairs (she can fly up there!) and now she is working on walking up them. If you hold her hands she can get her little legs working and make all the way up. She continues to surprise me with how fast she learns and how much she tries to talk, I have no idea what she is saying but it sure is cute.

Isabelle had a great 4th of July weekend. She got to spend some time with Grandpa Al and Grandma Chris and got to spend part of a day playing in the pool at Grammy Barbs. She seems to like the water, hopefully this weekend we will get he weather to line up and we will take her to the beach at Elm Creek Park.

This week has been kind of a tough one for Isabelle she has some molars moving around at it is causing her quite a bit of pain. She has also had a fever...the combination has been giving her some pretty uneasy nights. She seems a little more content today so hopefully we can all get a little better rest this evening.
