Go Vikings!!!

Isabelle has mastered watching football. Like an old pro she runs around the house eating chips in her underwear and favorite Vikings jersey. She also got a new toy kitchen that she has tons of fun playing with. Today we started seeing signs of the dreaded "i" (eye) teeth. Apparently these are the worst of the teeth, that scares me because the molars werent any fun at all. Isabelle has her 15 month appointment next week.

Two games into the season and she is already a pro...

Isabelle has a great time playing with fake food and other kitchen items. Mostly she likes to put everything in a cupboard then take them out ...over and over...

finally summer...

Isabelle really enjoyed our one week of summer. She took advantage of the heat by hitting the pool, the sprinklers, the beach and eating some ice cream.

It took her a while to warm up to the sprinkler, but I think she had fun!

She did a really good job with her first ever DQ ice cream treat. She started with the spoon for a while then just grabbed handfuls of ice cream until it melted. It made quite a mess but was worth it.

It is fascinating to watch Isabelle grow and learn. She is now almost 15 months old and seems to get older every day. She had her first haircut last week but I accidentally deleted the pictures before I could get them onto the computer. It was a pretty challenging 4 minutes. Hopefully it will get better next time. Isabelle spends most of her time jibber jabbing. She can say allot of words and seems to try and repeat anything you say to her. Tonight we asked her if she wanted to watch a movie and we swear she looked at us and said "showtime"...it was crazy. Her favorite words are more, milk, no, thank you (sometimes), yes, purple, yellow, blue, circle and rectangle (you have to be a parent to pick out "rectangle", but I know what she means). She is more and more fun everyday.

A WEEK AT THE LAKE!!!!

What a nice weeklong vacation. We spent Friday to Friday at the lake and even with a little cool weather and some rain, we had a great time! Isabelle just loves the beach and the fresh air.

Isabelle's vacation package included an afternoon trip to the lakeside spa...she got a pedicure from Mama and Nanna.

Sixty seconds after we arrived at the lake Isabelle ran right down to the beach and in the water; skirt, sandles and all...she stayed there for a half an hour.
